New Head of Planning And Administration

FirstCaribbean International Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Hemant Ratanjankar to the position of Operations & Technology Planning and Administration Head. Hemant brings to the post more than fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry in several countries.

Reporting to Juan Manuel Corral, Executive Director Operations & Technology, and Chief Operating Officer, Hemant will have responsibility for Financial and Resource Planning, Process Mapping and Reengineering and Customer Segment Interface.

Prior to joining FirstCaribbean, Hemant worked in several Operations-related capacities including Treasury Operations, Foreign Exchange, Credit Cards, Automation, Compliance, Branch Operations,

Customer Service, Consumer and Investment Banking, Administration and Training. He obtained this experience in Citibank NV, ING Bank NV, Commerzbank AG, ICICI Bank in India and National Bank of Oman in Oman. He also worked in Infosys Technologies as senior product consultant. His most recent position was at the National Commercial Bank Jamaica Ltd. as Assistant General Manager – Specialised Operations where he worked closely with Treasury and Credit Cards Operations, Risk Management and Compliance.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Bombay, with focus on Accounts, Audit and Costing, and a Masters in Technology from the Network Institute of Computer Education, also in India. We look forward with eagerness to his contributions to FirstCaribbean International Bank!

Married to Mayura, with one daughter Kajol, Hemant enjoys cricket, tennis, physical training and nature activities in his spare time.
