After The Storm
- Do not go out unless it is absolutely necessary
- If you must go out, avoid coastal areas as much as possible
- Beware of downed power lines and debris
- Do not attempt to cut branches or trees that may fall on the wires
- If your house has been damaged, check your wiring before switching on the main switch. Depending on the extent of the damage, a licensed electrician may be required to check all internal wiring after repairs
- LPG & Bottle Gas Users - in the event of a hurricane, all tanks should be locked down at the valve and left alone. After the hurricane, before opening the valve again inspect the installation and equipment for damage. If found to be damaged, do not open the valve. Call the suppliers
