- The Bank renewed the MOU with the Caribbean Association of Youth Business Programmes for another three years to the tune of US$340,000.
- June 2011 saw the first regional win for the team from the Cave Hill Campus at the University of the West Indies in the FirstCaribbean-sponsored Case Analysis Competition.
- The Bank signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding with Seacology a non-profit, non-governmental organisation committed to preserving threatened environments, endangered species such as the Leatherback and Hawksbill turtles, and historic cultures of islands worldwide, while improving the quality of life for island residents. The MOU is to the tune of US$63,000.
- FirstCaribbean commits to giving US$150,000 to boost entrepreneurship through a three-year Memorandum of Understanding with the Barbados Entrepreneurship Foundation.
- CIBC FirstCaribbean is one of the first to respond to the St. Lucia Police Force following the aftermath of Hurricane Tomas and makes a contribution of US$10,000 to replace damaged computers to assist with the rebuilding process.
- The third three-year MOU was signed between the Bank and the University of the West Indies to the tune of US$375,000.
- A Trinidadian whose passion is the conservation of sea turtles, eco tourism as well as agro-tourism in his rural village of Toco was announced as the Regional Unsung Hero for the first time in seven (7) years that the programme was run.

- FirstCaribbean is the first to respond to the St. Jude’s Hospital crisis in St. Lucia and makes a contribution of EC $200,000 to kick start the rebuilding process.
