- Interest is earned on all credit balances above the required threshold
- Interest is calculated monthly on the required minimum balance and paid semi-annually (April 30/October 31). Government Withholding Tax is applied to interest where applicable.
You must be at least 60 years old to open this account. Your spouse may also open this account as a joint account with you, even if they are under 60.
