Easy Card Activation
You can activate your cards easily with Online Banking and our Mobile App.
With the added convenience of activating your Mastercard Black card via Online Banking and the Mobile App, there is no need to visit the branch or call us to activate your card.
Cardholders simply need to follow these easy steps:
- Log on to Online Banking or our Mobile App
- Select “Manage My Cards”
- Select “Activate my card” and follow the on-screen instructions
- Select a PIN during the activation process

Earn up to 40,000 points when you activate and use your Mastercard Black credit card in the first 90 days.
Earn 15,000 points at sign up and an additional *25,000 points when you spend $10,000 USD or local equivalent in the first 90 days.
Earn rewards for purchases you make with your credit card. Book travel, dinner reservations and every day expenses with your Mastercard Black credit card and earn 1 point for each $1 US spent on eligible purchases.
Access My Rewards via the CIBC Caribbean My Rewards app available in the Apple Store and the Google Play stores. App access ensures you can view and redeem on the go. Redeem points to book airline tickets, hotel accommodation or car rentals and to shop online and locally via contactless where available.
*The 25,000 points will be added 90 days after activation, providing that the spend criteria is met.
