Transfer money to CIBC Caribbean clients quickly with 1stPay

 

Transfer money with your beneficiary's/payee's mobile number, email address or their unique QR Code for simpler and quicker person-to-person transfers.

No need to go through the steps of adding a beneficiary   Keep your account information secure. Use your mobile number, email address or unique CIBC Caribbean QR Code as the transfer details for other local CIBC Caribbean clients who need to send you money

 

Activate 1stPay:

     

 

1stPay Transfer options:

Log in to Online Banking or our Mobile App,  select "Transfer", select "1stPay", select your account and follow the below steps:

 

Mobile Number

Under Contact Type, select:

  • "Select From Contacts". Choose the contact you wish to send funds to. 

OR

  • "Email Address or Mobile Number" . In the "To" field, enter the Mobile Number of the recipient.

Once the payee has 1stPay their Mobile Number will be Verified and you can proceed with the transaction. 

(Mobile Number must start with 1 plus the Area code. Eg - 1246-222-2222)
   

Email Address

Under Contact Type, select:

  • Email Address or Mobile Number

 

In the "To" field, enter the Email Address of the recipient.

Once the payee has 1stPay their Email Address will be Verified and you can proceed with the transaction. 
   

QR Code
  • The recipient shows you their unique CIBC Caribbean QR Code
  • Open your camera app and scan the QR Code. You will be prompted to log on
  • The transfer screen will show the Recipient's account information
  • Add the amount to be transferred
  • Click "Transfer Now" to send funds!
   

 

 

Remember to enable 1stPay. It's free and it must be enabled for the transfer to work!
